Pupils of Istanbul’s Hrant Dink Armenian School took state final exams in the Mother Homeland
In early June, based on the agreement with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, the 9th graders of Hrant Dink Armenian School of Istanbul visited Armenia to take state final and receive state graduation certificates, as well as with the hope of continuing their studies at one of the high schools in Armenia.
As reported Lilit Poghosyan to Hayern Aysor, this process is very important since the pupils’ education is becoming official, they are receiving state certificates and, most importantly, they will continue their studies in the homeland – one of the pillars of the School’s ideology. Connecting pupils and their families to Armenia has always been one of the major and cherished goals of the School.
In Yerevan, they are escorted, motivated and officially represented by Vice-Principal of the School Davit Khachatrian.
On June 9, the trustees of the School, the Horozoglus, joined the pupils to encourage them. The encounter in the homeland was more than happy and interesting, and the pupils spent a wonderful time in the friendly and hospitable environment in Yerevan.
The pupils paid a wonderful, interesting and helpful visit to the American University of Armenia (AUA) where two students organized a tour of the University with great pleasure and willingness and presented the history of the University and the education provided at the University.
In the sense of learning, the most interesting visit was the visit to the History Museum of Armenia where all the pupils were introduced to the rich history of the Armenian people and left with a feeling of excitement.
