Nune Khchoyan is from the Tsalka region of Georgia and is one of the participants of the third stage of the 2017 “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora for young Diaspora Armenians’ homeland recognition. She is in the 11th grade. On her free time, she attends Armenian dance lessons. She dreams of becoming a doctor of psychologist so that she can give the right professional advice and cure people. Nune has decided to continue her studies in Armenia and be on the land of her origin.
The interlocutor of Hayern Aysor is more than happy to be in Armenia, to breathe the clean air in Armenia and to drink the cold water in Armenia. As Nune said, she feels like she is in a familiar environment and is surrounded by good people.
She visited Armenia once when she was little and wanted to return, but it hadn’t worked out. The “Ari Tun” Program helped open the “doors” of Armenia for her again and filled her soul with pride.
“It was the longing for my Homeland that made me want to participate in the “Ari Tun” Program. My dream of being in Armenia came true. I am nervous as I see so many of my peers all under one roof. I hope we become good friends. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the RA Ministry of Diaspora for the opportunity to go sightseeing in Armenia and participate in the Armenian language course. There is no doubt that the other participants and I will become more connected to Armenia after the tours,” Nune Khchoyan concluded.
