Glendale City Council Member Zareh Sinanyan to visit Akhaltskha on 2 July

On July 2, Member of Glendale City Council Zareh Sinanyan will visit Akhaltskha. The Councilman will be escorted by several guests of honor from the United States of America, Armenia and other countries. During the visit, Sinanyan is scheduled to visit Armenian churches and lay a wreath in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, writes akhaltskha.net

Wreaths will also be laid near the tomb of His Holiness Karapet Bagratuni, the monument to the heroes of the self-defense battles that took place in Akhaltskha in 1918 and in memory of the victims of April 9.

On July 3, the delegates will meet with Governor of Samtskhe-Javakhk Akaki Matchutadze and several Georgian Members of Parliaments and local authorities.

On the same day, the delegates will meet with representatives of the Armenians of Akhaltskha.

On July 4, the delegation will visit Akhalkalak.
