Shanghai, China—On June 7-9, 2017, the 3rd “China and The Middle East” From Asia to the Middle East: Asianization of the Middle East with Economic Characteristics? conference was held at Shanghai University. Selected scholars from different countries were invited to introduce their research. Armenian researcher, and IPSA member, Mher Sahakyan was among them. He presented his research on “China’s Disagreements and Cooperation with Russia and the US on Iranian Nuclear Issue” at Shanghai University. Among invited speakers and key-note speakers were Wu Sike (Former Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Egypt; Former China’s Special Envoy to the Middle East), Professor Mojtaba Mahdavi (University of Alberta, Canada) Professor Yang Guang (Director-General, Institute of West-Asian and African Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) Catherine POUJOL (Regional Director of French Institute of Central Asian Researches), Mahesh Ranjan Debata (Director, Centre for Inner Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India), Nargis Nurulla-Khodzhaeva (Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences) and others.
