Spain’s Valencia recognizes the Armenian Genocide

Valencia has become the 29th city of Spain to officially recognize the Armenian Genocide, reported President of Ararat Armenian Association Ararat Ghukasyan on his Facebook page, according to Hayern Aysor.

The three political parties represented in Valencia’s government (Compromis, the Socialist Party and Valencia En Comun) unanimously voted in favor of the resolution of Ararat Armenian Association on recognition of the Armenian Genocide, condemning the first genocide of the 20th century and urging the Parliament of Valencia, the Government of Spain and Turkey to follow their example.
