Almaty celebrates International Child Protection Day

“Happiness to All Children”-this was the title of the June 4 event organized by Masis Republican Non-Governmental Organization of the Union of Armenians of Kazakhstan and dedicated to International Child Protection Day, reported Lusine Shahverdyan to Hayern Aysor from Almaty.

The event was held at AmurE Concert and Entertainment Complex where the special guest game hosts had prepared entertaining games and surprises for all the children. What was especially attractive were the team games that helped the children get to know each other better and become friends. The organizers of this festive event wanted to not only give the children pleasant surprises, but also make them active, consolidate them around the Armenian community and convey new air to community life. At the end, the children admitted that they would like to meet often, be more active and participate in all community meetings, and the organizers felt at ease since this was their main objective. Everyone was content, including the children of the local Armenian Sunday school, the guests and the parents. In fact, the organizers had also thought about the parents. While the children were being entertained, the parents were provide with information about the main areas of activity of Masis Armenian Republican Non-Governmental Organization, including the Armenian Sunday school, the Union of Armenian Women of Almaty and the Armenian Dance Studio.
