On November 27, RA Ambassador to Kazakhstan Ara Sahakyan had a meeting with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov.

The Kazakh Prime Minister welcomed the Armenian Ambassador on the occasion of assuming the diplomatic mission and wished him success.

Serik Akhmetov confirmed the invitation to RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan to visit Kazakhstan. The sides attached importance to the visit as significant impetus for further enhancement of trade and economic relations.

The sides touched upon Armenia’s accession to the Customs Union and issues on the development of bilateral cooperation. The head of the Kazakh government pledged Kazakhstan’s support to Armenia to develop the Roadmap for CU accession and cooperation with the adequate expert groups.
