The national center for the professional growth of teachers will soon launch a training program for the teachers and principals of Armenian schools in Samtskhe-Javakhk. The principals and facilitators (moderators of active civic groups) of Armenian schools in Akhaltska talked about the innovation during a May 3 meeting held in the governor’s office.

As reported akhaltskha.net, the national center will create a leaders’ academy for the school principals that will be composed of three parts. The principals are expected to become more professional after the training program.

Teachers and principals of Georgian schools are currently in training. Teachers of Armenian schools will join the program in late 2017.
