Armenian Section opens in library of Charles University of Czech Republic

An Armenian Section has opened in the Library of the Faculty of Philosophical Sciences at Charles University of the Czech Republic.

Orer.eu writes that the solemn opening of the Armenian Section containing nearly 1,000 Armenian books was performed by Rector of Yerevan State University, Professor Aram Simonyan and Dean of the Faculty of Philosophical Sciences at Charles University, Dr. Miriam Fried.

Among other attendees were Ambassador of Armenia to the Czech Republic Tigran Seyranyan and Director of the Library System of the Faculty Clara Roslerova, who performed the solemn opening. Afterwards, she gave the floor to the Rector of Yerevan State University, the Faculty’s Dean and Armenia’s Ambassador, thanking the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia for the support and the relevant specialists in advance. Everyone welcomed the opening of the Armenian Section at the Jan Palakh Library of the Faculty and wished that it would serve as a new basis for future cooperation.
