Concert series to be launched in Cordoba as part of “What are YOU doing for Karabakh?” pan-Armenian movement

On May 6, AGBU Argentina Chapter will hold a series of concerts in Cordoba. The concerts are part of the “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement launched by the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia.

According to Hayern Aysor, the concerts will feature musical performances by violinist of YANNI Orchestra Samvel Yervinyan, Argentina-based Armenian musician and Honorary Member of AGBU Argentina Chapter Gagik Gasparyan, as well as pianist Armen Kuzikyan and Ararat Armenian Dance Group of Cordoba.

The series of concerts will be launched in Buenos Aires on May 4.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be used to purchase musical instruments for the music schools in Artsakh. The concerts, which are also aimed at making Artsakh recognizable for foreigners, will be held in several cities across Argentina and Brazil. The events in South America will end in Armenia and Artsakh in September 2017.

Gagik Gasparyan has been designated to be the artistic director of the concerts, and the general correspondent is Honorary Member of the AGBU Central Board Antonio Sarafian.
