8 businessmen of Armenian descent are among Russia’s wealthiest people-Forbes

The Russian service of Forbes Magazine has prepared a table of ratings of the wealthiest people in Russia that includes 200 businessmen.

There are 8 businessmen of Armenian descent who are included in the table of ratings, reported 1in.am.

Sergey Galitskin (Harutyunyan), who is the executive director of Magnit Trade Network, is in 18th place with $6.8 billion.

Compared to last year, owner of Tashir Group Samvel Karapetyan’s wealth has increased by $300,000,000, and now he is in 32nd place with $3.4 billion.

Co-owner and executive director of Rosgosstrakh Company Danil Khachaturov is in 48th place with $2 billion.

Among others in the table of ratings are Ruben Vardanyan (99th place, $950 million), founder of SCARLET Company Albert Avdolyan ($800 million), Nikolay and Sergey Sargisovs ($700 million) and founder of Mamba and Badoo matchmaking websites Andrey Andreyev (Andrey Ohanjanyan) ($500 million).

Let us mention that co-founder of NOVATEK Company Leonid Michelson ($18.4 billion) is at the top of the table, followed by President of the Board of Directors of Severstal Holding Alexey Mardashov ($17.5 billion) and co-owner of the metallurgic factory in Novolipetsk Vladimir Lisin ($16.1 billion).
