On 5 April, the middle school in Small Mantash village of Shirak Province hosted a commemorative event dedicated to the 139^th birth anniversary of great Armenian writer Vahan Tekeyan. The event was held as part of the Our Greats Program of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia.

As reported the school to Hayern Aysor, the event was organized by teacher of the Armenian language and literature of the middle school Salvi Gharbyan and featured performances by the 12^th graders.
