On 11 April, Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan received Israeli-Armenian businessman, Vice-Chairman of the Israel-Armenia Trade Chamber, Import and Export Director of Teamnet Packing and International Freight Services Suren Shahnazaryan, who had replied to the letter of the Minister of Diaspora and expressed the desire to make investments in the sphere of agriculture and the solar energy industry in Armenia.

The Minister greeted the Diaspora Armenian businessman and attached importance to his willingness to invest his potential in Armenia to participate in the advancement of the Homeland. The Minister asked about the state and problems of the Armenian community of Israel and emphasized that it was necessary to strengthen the bond with the Homeland and show more active participation in the programs and projects of the Ministry in order to preserve the Armenian identity, consolidate around issues of national concern and stand united as one. “I think it is time to restructure the Armenian Diaspora in the professional sense and use its tremendous potential. I welcome your initiative to ensure your presence in Armenia and make investments in the country,” the Minister particularly stated.

Suren Shahnazaryan expressed gratitude for the cordial reception, presented the problems and activities of the Israel-Armenia Trade Chamber, the local church and the community and expressed willingness to work more closely with the Ministry and actively participate in the programs and projects of the Ministry.
