AGBU Argentina’s “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” concert series kicking off
As Hayern Aysor had informed, AGBU Argentina has joined the “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement of the RA Ministry of Diaspora. On May 4, AGBU Argentina will hold a series of concerts in Buenos Aires to support the solutions to key issues facing Artsakh. The AGBU is holding the concert by paying heed to the call of the Ministry to declare the year 2017 as the Year of Artsakh.
According to Hayern Aysor, the concert will feature performances by violinist of YANNI Orchestra Samvel Yervinyan and Argentina-based musician and honorary member of AGBU Argentina Gagik Gasparyan.
AGBU Argentina has designated Gagik Gasparyan to be the concerts’ artistic director, and honorary member of the AGBU Central Board Antonio Sarafian has been designated as the general correspondent.
Let us add that all proceeds from the concerts will be used to purchase musical instruments for music schools in Artsakh. The concerts are aimed at making Artsakh recognizable among foreigners and will be held in several cities across Argentina and in Brazil.
The events in South America will end with concerts in Armenia and Artsakh in September 2017.
