House-Museum of Charles Aznavour being donated to Aznavour Foundation

Located at Antarayin Street in Yerevan, the House-Museum of Charles Aznavour and the plot of land required for use and maintenance have been donated to the Aznavour Foundation to be used exclusively as the House-Museum of Charles Aznavour.

The draft of the relevant decision was approved during the March 23 session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Deputy Head of the Department of State Property Management of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Markosyan stated that the Aznavour Foundation was established for the purpose of establishing a cultural and educational venue in Yerevan and supporting the activities of the House-Museum of Charles Aznavour.

 “The Government of the Republic of Armenia and Aznavour Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding according to which the Government of the Republic of Armenia is committed to transfer the House-Museum of Charles Aznavour to the Foundation, taking as a basis the contract on donation,” Markosyan said.
