Ataturk signed archival decision on exiling two Islamized Armenians

As is known, the deportations of the Armenians in Turkey continued in the 1930s as well. And so, in his article entitled “Labeling Of The Armenians By The Republic Under Examination For The First Time”, Turkish historian Nevzat Onaran states the following in regard to that: “Pursuant to Law No 2510 “On resettlement” adopted on 14 June 1934, the map of Turkey was officially divided based on three grounds-Turkic-speaking and non-Turkic-speaking people, bearers and non-bearers of Turkish culture and Turks and non-Turks. The Law “On resettlement” was first enforced in Sasun, after which the ?Bronze’ hand of the State hit Dersim (wordplay-in Turkish, tunç means ?bronze hand’, after the 1937-38 massacres, Dersim was officially renamed as Tunceli-Akunq-ed.), and when such events were taking place in eastern Turkey, the “Speak Turkish!” campaign launched in western Turkey continued in a coordinated manner with the Law “On property tax’ and the annihilation that was perpetrated on 6-7 September” (See full article at http://akunq.net/am/?p=40399 – editorial staff of Akunq).
Below we present a document signed by the first president of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and ordering to exile two Islamized Armenians from one region of Turkey to another for allegedly spying. The document was provided to the Center for Western Armenian Issues by U.S.-based Istanbul-Armenian researcher Kevork Hagopian, who found the document in the state archives of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey. The document was translated from Turkish into Armenian by Meline Anumyan.
“Since it was clarified that Hasiceli Sadik (known with the nickname “Gyavur”) from the Nizip province of Gaziantepi (Aintab-editorial staff of Akunq) and Eyub (real name is Hakob) from Erzerum (Karn-editorial staff of Akunq), who are of Armenian descent and under the name of conversion, have stolen objects and weapons and have spied us through contacts with French and allied intelligence organizations in Syria, it has been decided to transport Sadik, his wife, Ayshe and son, Jengiz and resettle them in the State of Amasya, and to transport Eyub, his wife, Bahie and resettle them in the State of Nighde. This decision was approved on 2 November 1937 by the Council of Ministers following Proposal No 3417 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of 15 October 1937 and pursuant to the third paragraph of part 2 of Article 8 of Law No 2848.
President of the Republic of Turkey K. Ataturk
2 November 1937.”
