Greek FM visits Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex

On March 9, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Nikos Kotzias, who is on an official visit to Armenia, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex where he laid a wreath near the monument and respected the memory of the innocent martyrs of the Armenian Genocide with a moment of silence near the eternal flame.
Afterwards, escorted by Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan, Nikos Kotzias toured the AGMI and was introduced to the history of the Armenian Genocide, as well as the tragic events and episodes.
Before leaving the AGMI, Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Kotzias left a note in the Registry, after which Director of the AGMI Hayk Demoyan donated the English version of the book “Coverage of the Armenian Genocide on the Front Pages of Foreign Presses”, writes armradio.am.
