Priest Vahram Melikyan has confirmed the news about the visit of Vicar of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople, Archbishop Aram Ateshian and Chairperson of the Spiritual Council of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople, Bishop Sahag Mashalian to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, stating the following: “At the invitation of the Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holinesses Aram and Sahag will arrive at the Mother See next week. They will discuss with the Supreme Patriarch the process of the elections for the Patriarch to reach mutual understanding.”
