First consignment of Armenia’s humanitarian assistance to Syria reached Latakia (photos)

On February 15, the first consignment of the humanitarian assistance that Armenia sent to the people of Syria reached the St. Mary Church in Latakia.

Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Aleppo Tigran Gevorgyan gave an interview to SYRIA TV.

Let us add that on February 14, upon the assignment of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armenia sent another plane carrying 18.5 tons of humanitarian assistance to Syria to support the civilians devastated by the Syrian conflict.

Among those on board were representatives of the RA Ministries of Defense, Diaspora and Emergency Situations.
