Performances of classical music to be held at Armenia’s bordering military units

On February 9, the soloists and the symphony orchestra of the Opera House will perform at Armenia’s bordering military units. The performances are part of the “Opera Art at Military Units” Project of the Support to the Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet Foundation.
As reported the Department of Public Relations at the RA Ministry of Culture, the performances will be conducted by the project’s creator, conductor and Merited Artist of the Republic of Armenia Karen Durgaryan.
Through the project, the organizers wish to help Armenian soldiers become more familiar with classical arts and assure them that the singers and musicians also stand by the side of Armenian soldiers.
“The artists of the Opera House are very excited and willing to participate in this major initiative aimed at keeping the spirit of soldiers high,” the creators of the project said.
Among other projects of the Foundation are the “Opera Art in Schools”, “Opera Art in the Provinces of the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh”, “Concert in a Vestibule” and more.
