Russia’s Central Bank to be issuing commemorative coins devoted to Armenia and Armenians
Throughout 2017, the Central Bank of Russia will be issuing commemorative coins devoted to Armenia and Armenians.
As reported the official website of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, according to Hayern Aysor, the “Holy Cross Church: Republic of Crimea” silver coin will be issued as part of the “Architectural Monuments of Russia” series. In 2017, there will nearly 5,000 coins worth 3 rubles.
In addition, the Central Bank will issue a commemorative coin dedicated to the 200th birth anniversary of great marine artist Hovhannes (Ivan) Aivazovsky in the second half of the year as part of the “Outstanding Figures of Russia” series. There will be up to 3,000 commemorative coins in circulation and will cost 2 rubles.
