Students of AGBU Marie Manoogian School in Buenos Aires stands with Artsakh

According to Hayern Aysor, students of the AGBU Marie Manoogian School in Buenos Aires have joined the “What Are You Doing For Karabakh?” pan-Armenian movement launched by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

The Marie Manoogian School is one of the seven Armenian schools in Buenos Aires.

For the past 35 years, according to the established tradition, the students in the higher grades visit Armenia through a special program every year.

Throughout the year, the graduating students and their parents prepare various Armenian dishes and sell them in one of the halls of the School on Fridays and Saturdays. The menu mainly includes the dishes of Cilician Armenia, including humus, tabouleh, pasuts dolma, etc. They use the proceeds to spend their summer vacation in Armenia.

Overall, throughout the past years, 6,000 young Diaspora Armenians have visited Armenia to see the birthplace of their ancestors.
