Traditional New Year’s events for children of various social groups and Syrian-Armenian families

According to tradition, children’s events are a major part of the New Year’s and Christmas events and ceremonies that are organized in Armenia. Upon the assignment of Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, Yerevan Municipality has organized New Year’s events for 4,000 children this year as well. And so, children can watch the “New Adventures of Brave Nazar” musical based on Hovhannes Tumanyan’s fairy tale “Kaj Nazar” (Brave Nazar) at Hakob Paronyan State Musical Comedy Theater, reported the Department of Information and Public Relations of Yerevan Municipality to Hayern Aysor.

Head of the Department of Social Security at Yerevan Municipality Ruzanna Zakaryan was also attending one of the performances of the first day. On behalf of Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, Zakaryan wished the attending children and their families a Happy New Year and Armenian Christmas and assured that all events for children, including the New Year’s events are in the focus of Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan and that they will be ongoing. The performances will also be organized for the children of families registered in the system of assessment of insecurity, disabled children, as well as the children of Syrian-Armenian families and various social groups.
