PM meets with outgoing Italian Ambassador to Armenia

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Armenia Bruno Scapini. The head of government highly appreciated the Ambassador’s efforts for the expansion and deepening of Armenian-Italian relations.
Bruno Scapini expressed gratitude to the RA Government for the close collaboration and mentioned that Armenian-Italian relations have developed in the economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Italy’s Ambassador to Armenia reminded that the two countries have established an Armenian-Italian Chamber of Commerce that will provide the opportunity to engage new Italian companies in Armenia and attract Italian investors to the country. According to Scapini, more and more Italians are visiting Armenia every year, and this is one of the best ways of strengthening the relations between the two countries.
Bruno Scapini also informed that a grand event dedicated to Armenian music will be organized in Verona on the sidelines of the events dedicated to Armenian Genocide Centennial.
The Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for contributing to the development of Armenian-Italian relations and wished him more success in his future career.
