Liberation of Aleppo celebrated by local Armenians

Liberation of Aleppo put an end to the nightmare facing the Armenian community and the fear of losing relatives, the everyday shelling has ceased, but many difficulties still remain, “Hayern Aysor” reports editor-inchief of Aleppobased “Gandzasar” weekly Zarmig Boghikian posted on her Facebook page, clarifying that Aleppo city is liberated, but not the province.

“Being enthusiastic about the recent developments, we will remain realistic not to lead people into confusion. Aleppo city is liberated, not the province. Being enthusiastic about the liberation of Aleppo we must remain realistic and admit that the Syrian war is not over yet, restoration has not started yet, and many difficulties still remain even in liberated areas, such as lack of electricity. But the liberation of Aleppo put an end to our nightmare. The everyday shelling and attacks have ceased, our fears of losing relatives are in the past”, she wrote, adding that the active works of the municipality aimed at the restoration of the city give heart to the people.
