Young Armenians shut down another planned lecture devoted to Ataturk (video)

Young members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun in California shut down another lecture devoted to founder of the Republic of Turkey and the country’s first president Kemal Ataturk and organized as part of Ataturk Week (9-13 November).
The ARF-D USA AYF Facebook page reports that during the lecture devoted to Ataturk at Chapman University, the young Armenians stormed into the classroom and turned their backs to the Turks. The youth started screaming “Shame on Ataturk, Shame on Turkey”, which filled the attending nationalist Turks with indignation.
The video posted on the AYF’s Facebook page clearly shows how the Turks try to attack the young Armenians in outrage, spit on them and use swear words in an attempt to counterattack them. One of the attendees even dares to show a young Armenian the middle finger.
The young Armenians stood their ground and eventually shut down the lecture. Not being able to go against the young Armenians, the crowd was forced to leave the hall.
Let us remind that the young members of the ARF-D had also shut down another lecture devoted to Ataturk at California State University, Northridge. When the lecturer entered the classroom to give a lecture devoted to Ataturk and Turkish propaganda, the Armenian students turned their backs to him and screamed “Genocide is Denied, “Turkey is guilty of the Armenian Genocide”, after which the lecturer was forced to leave the classroom.
Let us also mention that the ARF-D USA Armenian Youth Federation has also called on joining Armenian, Kurdish, Yezidi and human rights organizations to speak out about the violations of Erdogan and his partisans against the co-chairs of the pro-Kurdish Democratic Party of Nations and the MPs representing the political party, writes yerkir.am.
