RA Ministry of Diaspora launching new television series

On November 29, the RA Ministry of Diaspora, partnership with the Pan-Armenian Geographical Association, will launch a new cultural television series called “Reading Together” on Armenian Public Television. The television series is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of declaration of Independence of the Republic of Armenia and will be broadcast as part of the “Diaspora Hour” TV program on Tuesdays (23:40). Reruns will air on Wednesdays at 08:25.

According to Hayern Aysor, the goal of the television series is to pay homage to and respect the memory of classic Armenian writers, as well as preserve and disseminate their works.

The works of Armenian writers will be read by various field representatives of Armenia, Artsakh and different communities of the Armenian Diaspora.

The first broadcast of the television show will feature excerpts from the “Book of Tragedies” by Gregory of Narek.
