On November 7, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan chaired a consultation with Deputy Ministers Serzh Srapionyan and Vahagn Melikyan, Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Firdus Zakaryan, heads of departments and divisions, the director of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival and the editor-in-chief of Hayern Aysor (Armenians Today) electronic newspaper.

The past and current activities were presented.

The Minister assigned to implement the actions and provisions of the Program of the Government of the Republic of Armenia related to the Armenia-Diaspora partnership and deliver reports on the process of completion, sum up the results and present the completed activities every week.

The Minister attached importance to the development and application of a new procedure for raising public awareness about the activities of the Ministry as assigned by the Government and release brief information about the activities carried out throughout the week.

The Minister assigned to make the electronic library of the Ministry of Diaspora more popular, applicable and efficient and collaborate with Armenian schools of the Diaspora to update the list of textbooks, academic and fiction books in high demand and place them in the e-library.

The heads of departments and divisions were assigned to carry out their functions more consistently. The Minister gave other assignments and designated correspondents and coordinators.
