Former French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Cuni presented his book in Paris
On October 28, at the initiative of the “Nazarbek” Youth Union of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party in France, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Henri Cuni (2002-06) presented his book “Armenia: The Spirit of a Nation” in Paris. According to the press divan of the Executive Committee of SDHP France, in his speech, the Ambassador touched upon the history and culture of the Armenian nation spanning millennia and expressed his respect and connection to Armenia, which served as an impetus for him to publish the book.
Talking about the Four-Day Artsakh War, Henri Cuni noted that since the authorities of Azerbaijan are dictatorial and illegitimate, they are doing everything they can to maintain the tension on the border. According to the Ambassador, only military operations will be able to extend the powers of Azerbaijan’s dictator.
In his speech at the event, Chairman of the Executive Committee of SDHP Armenia Narek Galstyan expressed gratitude to Ambassador Cuni for the initiative and his book and attached importance to the Ambassador’s contributions to the friendly relations between France and Armenia.
Galstyan also talked about the event’s organizer, “Nazarbek” Youth Union, which donated certain necessary commodities for the army during the Four-Day Artsakh War in April.
The chairman of the Executive Committee of SDHP Armenia stated that the young members of “Nazarbek” were already in Artsakh when the military operations hadn’t ended. On behalf of the Executive Committee of SDHP Armenia, Narek Galstyan awarded the youth union with the Great Murad Order.
