Armenian American doctor: “We will be paying regular visits to Artsakh”
At the initiative of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Armenia in Fresno and with the support of the Armenian community of Fresno, Fresno-based doctors continue to provide free medical consultations to the people of Stepanakert (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) and perform surgeries, if necessary.
Fresno-Armenian dentist Vatche Vasilian provides free consultations and medical treatment at Dentex Dental Group.
In an interview with “Artsakhpress”, he stated that he had also come to Artsakh to support his compatriots and provide free medical consultations to the residents.
“Last year we visited Armenia. This year we were provided with the opportunity to visit Artsakh and provide medical assistance to our compatriots there. We received patients with different problems. I must say that I am charmed by all the conditions of this dental clinic. It has all the necessary equipment and a professional staff. Frankly, we don’t even have such clinics in Fresno,” Vasilian said, adding that there would be regular visits and that such collaborations and the exchange of experiences are very important.
The dentist said he and the other doctors had brought drugs that will be provided to the Armenians of Artsakh for free, according to necessity.
Vasilian emphasized the doctors’ main goal and mission. “We want our so-called neighbors to know that all Armenians stand with their homeland and are ready to support their compatriots, no matter where they may be in the world.”
