On the evening of 7 October, at the invitation of Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo arrived in Yerevan. As reported the Department of Information and Public Relations at Yerevan Municipality, the mayor of Yerevan greeted his counterpart from Paris at Zvartnots International Airport.

Expressing gratitude for accepting the invitation, Mayor Taron Margaryan expressed certainty that the visit of the mayor of Paris would serve as a new beginning for the effective cooperation between the two capital cities.

In her turn, Anne Hidalgo congratulated the mayor on the upcoming Yerevan Day and stated that Paris also attaches importance to the strengthening of cooperation with Yerevan, for which the two cities have great potential.
