On September 27, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Kingdom of Spain hosted a reception dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia in Madrid, as reported the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Hayern Aysor.

In his congratulatory message, RA Ambassador Avet Adonts touched upon the major achievements that had been made over the past 25 years of independence of the Republic of Armenia, the importance of establishing peace and stability in the region and the Armenia-EU relations.

Ambassador Adonts also talked about the friendly Armenian-Spanish relations and their great potential and particularly emphasized the role of the Armenian community in the development of the bilateral relations.

Among the participants of the event were representatives of Spain’s legislative and executive bodies, high-ranking officials of Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government agencies, representatives of regional authorities, clergymen, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Spain, scientific and business circles, cultural figures and members of the local Armenian community.
