Tigran Chukhajyan’s “Karine” operette will be presented at the Odeon State Theater of Marseilles (the latter is considered the birthplace of operettes) with the support of the Tigran Chukhajyan Research Center (director J. Papazyan), the Armenian Blue Cross of France and Hamazkayin Armenian Cultural Society of Paris on November 9-10. French art critics and the presses have called the “Karine” operette an “opera-buff with a high level”. That is the French people’s appreciation of Chukhajyan.
