On September 26, RA Acting Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan held a consultation with Deputy Ministers Serzh Srapionyan and Vahagn Melikyan, Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Firdus Zakaryan, heads of departments and divisions, the director of the “Homeland-Diaspora Center” SNCO and the editor-in-chief of “Hayern Aysor” (Armenians Today) electronic newspaper.

The participants of the consultation presented the events and activities that had been carried out throughout the week.

The Acting Minister expressed her satisfaction with the proper organizing of the ceremony dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the Knights of Vartan Organization, the “Breath of Syrian-Armenian Culture in Yerevan” charity exhibition-sale, the session of the Public Council adjunct to the RA Minister of Diaspora and the Duduk Festival held as part of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival.

Hranush Hakobyan attached importance to the proper implementation of the upcoming events, particularly the proper organizing and coverage of the “Armenian Song Day” and “100 + 1” programs to be held as part of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival. The Acting Minister assigned to solve all the organizational issues in a timely and effective manner.

Hranush Hakobyan also assigned to develop information about the events dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia that have taken, are taking and will take place in the Armenian communities of the Diaspora, according to regions.

The heads of departments and divisions were assigned to carry out their functions more consistently. The Acting Minister also gave other assignments and designated correspondents and facilitators.
