After the Four-Day War in Artsakh, Armenians of Javakhk living in Javakhk and abroad held massive fundraisers to support Artsakh. Those fundraisers continue, and one of them was held on September 17. By participating in the recent “Auxiliary Help to Border Guards” event, residents of Alastan village of Javakhk sent five night vision devices. Earlier, the residents of Alastan village had sent a snow-collecting rotor to the military positions. Artsakh has already received the night vision devices, and the rotor has been transferred to the bordering military positions of the Republic of Armenia.

The fundraiser was organized by Petros Kojoyan. Among the participants were Melik, Vahan, Gevorg, Karen, Petros, Edgar, Ara, Artak, Arman…and the list goes on. Overall, 58 villagers participated in the fundraiser. Thank you to all the supporters and participants.

We present the message of the participants, which reads as follows: “It is with great pleasure and with strong faith that we dedicate this to our brave soldiers standing on the border and defending the state borders of our Homeland with self-dedication and by risking their lives. May God protect the heroic boys standing along the entire length of the border of Armenia, from Artsakh to Tavush and Yeraskh…We, the generations of Javakhk, the youth of the Alastan village, who live in the Russian Federation, wish to make our small contribution to the defense of the Homeland. Our dedicated boys did quite a lot to make this initiative a success. We thank all the youth and veterans of Alastan, the 58 participants who didn’t hesitate to make their contributions to this pro-national act. We also thank their colleagues. We are always ready to take part in the defense of our Sacred Homeland…With kind wishes, devoted residents of Alastan of the Homeland.”
