25 paintings by 25 renowned Armenian painters showcased at exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence in New York

On September 21, RA Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan, who is on a working visit to New York, participated in the event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia at the St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral of New York, as reported the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Primate of the U.S. Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church, Archbishop Khazhak Parsamian and Primate of the U.S. Eastern Diocese of the Great House of Cilicia, Archbishop Oshagan Choloian said a prayer in observance of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia.
On this occasion, the halls of the St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral hosted an exhibition showcasing 25 paintings by 25 renowned Armenian painters. In observance of the 25th anniversary of Independence, Armenian musicians performed the works of Komitas, Aram Khachaturian, Alexander Harutyunyan and other renowned Armenian composers.
