Sargsyan and Putin to hold talks in Moscow

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and President of Russia Vladimir Putin will hold talks on August 10 around political, tradeeconomic and humanitarian issues, and will also discuss international and regional issues, the Kremlin’s Press Service reported.

“During the high level talks it is scheduled to discuss main issues of cooperation in political, trade-economic and humanitarian areas, discuss the progress of integration processes in the Eurasian territory”, the Kremlin’s statement reads.

It is expected that opinions will be exchanged on international and regional issues. Earlier this week Vladimir Putin visited Baku, where he had a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

When the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement was being discussed, Vladimir Putin announced that Russia will strive for Azerbaijan and Armenia to find a mutually acceptable solution.
