Four more humanitarian corridors to be opened in Syria’s Aleppo

Three humanitarian corridors have been opened for Syrians and the surrendered militants in the Syrian city of Aleppo where a humanitarian operation is being carried out. Four more corridors are expected to be opened.

This is what General-Lieutenant of the Russian center for the reconciliation of conflicting parties in Syria, Sergey Chvarkov said during a July 30 press conference, writes Interfax.ru, as reported Artsakhpress.

The General-Lieutenant also declared that nearly 70 militants had dropped their weapons following the launch of the humanitarian operation in Aleppo.

“After the launch of the humanitarian operation, 169 peaceful civilians came out from the illegal armed groups-controlled districts through checkpoints, 69 militants dropped their weapons, and 59 people have been provided with medical assistance,” he informed.
