An attack was made on the French city of Nice while Frenchmen were celebrating Bastille Day on the evening of July 14. As reported Reuters, a truck crashed into the crowd gathered in one of the central areas of the city and opened fire at the people. It is reported that police killed the driver.

The attack killed 80, and another 18 people are in extremely heavy conditions. This is what French Minister of Internal Affairs Bernard Kaznev announced. According to him, “we are in a state of war with terrorists who want to hurt us at any price”, as reported Reuters.
