Pan-Armenian festival to be held in France

On September 17 (11:00-19:00), the French Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church is organizing its first pan-Armenian festival.

As reported Hayern Aysor, the festival will be held in front of the Saint Paul-Peter Armenian Church located at Komitas Street of Alfortville, which is one of the most Armenian-populated suburbs of Paris. The festival is supported by the Municipality of Alfortville.

The Armenian Diocese of France wishes to turn this festival into an annual event and hold it in different cities across the country. This year’s festival falls in line with the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian Diocese of France.

Komitas Street will be entirely closed on the day of the festival. There will be a stage and a platform for performances of dances, and books, gifts, handmade items, dishes and other items will be sold in pavilions that will be specially set up for the festival.

Children will be able to participate in interesting games. There will also be a drawing for many gifts.
