On July 8, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received President of the World Armenian Congress and the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamyan and his daughter, Anna Abrahamyan, who is currently studying in the USA and is in Armenia to become familiar with the land of her ancestors and conduct her internship in the Homeland.

Greeting the guests, Minister Hranush Hakobyan attached importance to the aspiration of young Armenians to become familiar with the rich Armenian culture and learn Armenian songs and dances. The Minister asked Anna Abrahamyan about her future plans, presented the cultural and pan-Armenian programs of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and invited her to participate in the current stage of the “Ari Tun” Program.

The guests expressed gratitude for the cordial reception. Anna Abrahamyan accepted the Minister’s invitation to join the participants of the program with pleasure.

During the meeting, Hranush Hakobyan and Ara Abrahamyan discussed issues on further cooperation and indicated the future actions.
