On the evening of July 6, Angela Davtyan and her friends traveled from Los Angeles to Martakert where they met with head of the regional administration Vladik Khachatryan.

The aim of the visit was to provide financial assistance to the families of eight wounded soldiers and two deceased soldiers of Martakert who had fought in the four-day Artsakh war in April, as reported the Facebook page of the Jraberd official newspaper of Martakert region, according to Hayern Aysor.

The donations were transferred in the presence of the head of the regional administration. Head of the municipal community of Martakert Misha Gyurjyan and Head of the Office for Provision of Social Services of the staff of the regional administration Garik Antonyan were also attending the meeting.

The families of wounded soldiers each received AMD 40,000, while the families of deceased soldiers each received AMD 100,000.

Angela Davtyan took this commendable step with her friends from Los Angeles and with the support of GoFund, and the head of the regional administration expressed his gratitude.

Angela Davtyan expressed her wishes to the residents of Martakert and the Armenian army. She wished health to the wounded soldiers, patience to the widows of deceased soldiers, Anush Hyusnunts and Ellada Arushanyan, mentioning that the Armenians of Los Angeles will always support them.

Let us mention that Angela Davtyan and her friends also provided financial assistance to the residents of Stepanakert.
