Benefactors of the German affiliate of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund have transferred donations equivalent to AMD 2 million to the families of ten soldiers of Artsakh killed during the four-day war in April, as reported on the official website of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, according to Hayern Aysor.

Chairman of the German affiliate of the Fund Gilbert Momjian states that the Armenian community of Germany felt great sorrow over the events that took place in April and, in a short period of time, raised funds that will more or less mitigate the worries of at least these families.

The German affiliate continues to carry out other social programs. In 2015, the Armenian community of Germany provided two homeless families with new and furbished apartments. Another two families in Gyumri will move to new apartments in the next couple of days with the help of the German affiliate.
