Dear Mrs. Hakobyan,

I’m certain that all Diaspora Armenians, especially artists and cultural figures, have seen the tremendous amount of pro-national activities that the Ministry of Diaspora has implemented in the past five years. All Armenians around the world are pleased with and take pride in that. The Ministry of Diaspora has carried out all programs under the leadership of a wise and provident leader like you and has reinforced the pillars for the existence and survival of all Armenians around the world. The ministry has also served as a bridge between Armenia and the Diaspora. As a painter born and raised in the Diaspora, I had to commend this unprecedented event.

Since I wasn’t able to visit Yerevan and personally congratulate you on the fifth anniversary of the Ministry of Diaspora, I’m sending this letter, asking you to accept the painting that my close friend, Sargis Najaryan told me he would give you so that it decorates one of the walls of the Ministry of Diaspora.
