Children of Artsakh spent a day of their summer vacation in Yerevan

By the assignment of the mayor of Yerevan, children of special groups are always engaged in the events that are part of the three-month“Summer in Yerevan 2016 Program. Another interesting surprise was in store for 30 children of soldiers of Artsakh killed on the border in April. The children were in Yerevan with their relatives through a program that is being carried out at the initiative of Motherhood NGO, which is based in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, as reported the Department of Information and Public Relations of Yerevan Municipality to Hayern Aysor.
To make the visit of the children memorable and more interesting, a visit to Yerevan Zoo was organized with the support of Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan. Most of the children were visiting the zoo for the first time ever. They enjoyed strolling, sitting on rides and feeding the animals.
Yerevan Municipality also surprised the little guests of Yerevan, providing them with the double-decker Yerevan City Tour bus in which they toured Yerevan and were introduced to the historic and cultural sites in the city.
At the end of the day full of cultural and entertaining events, the children stated that they would always remember the visit to Yerevan and would tell their friends and classmates about it.
