Artsakh Wine Festival to be held in Togh village

This year, the third Artsakh Wine Festival will be held in the Togh village of Hadrut region on September 17, 2016. This is what programs correspondent of the Department of Tourism at the Ministry of Economy of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Artak Grigoryan told “Artsakhpress”, adding that the program of the festival is being developed and will soon be announced. According to Grigoryan, unlike previous years, this year the day of the festival has been shifted from the third Saturday of October to the third Saturday of September due to, as our interlocutor said, the rainy weather.

Let us mention that the first and second Artsakh Wine Festivals were held on the third Saturday of October. Exhibition-sales of the wine and goods of Artsakh, traditional concerts and art exhibits are organized during the annual event devoted to the culture and winemaking of Artsakh.

The festival showcases wines made in all regions of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, as well as winemakers from the Republic of Armenia. The Artsakh Wine Festival is organized by the NKR Ministry of Economy, in association with private companies.
