Putting the words “fifth anniversary” and “Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia” together is like declaring the milestone for the Ministry of Diaspora.

The Ministry of Diaspora has achieved success in getting to know, inspiring and supporting the Armenian communities that are scattered across the globe and are sometimes forgotten through its different kinds of programs.

The Armenian communities growing and thriving in all four corners of the globe are like ships that sail on the seas or oceans.

Alongside the “ships” that have been around for centuries, we see new, promising, self-confident and independent “ships”.

These “ships” that sail on peaceful and stormy seas and oceans are the Armenian communities around the world, and the Ministry of Diaspora is the “lighthouse” for all these “ships”.

Those who travel by land can’t fully understand the mission and value of this “lighthouse”. For them, the ministry is simply a typical structure or a tower at the seaside.

However, our communities, which are like ships sailing on stormy seas, deeply understand what having a lighthouse means.

The “captains” know the place and role of lighthouses.

Like a lighthouse, the Ministry of Diaspora shines the light and guides the Diaspora Armenians around the world.

The Ministry of Diaspora, which is marking its 5^th anniversary, is the shining wonder for Armenians.
