The book entitled “The Great Mesrob Mashtots” by Armenian American writer Hovsep Nalbandian will be presented at the Union of Writers of Armenia on October 9 at 14:00.

RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and acting President of the Union of Writers of Armenia Edward Militonyan will attend the event. Among speakers will be RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora, literary critic, candidate of philological sciences Serzh Srapionyan, Director of Abeghyan Institute of Literature of the RA National Academy of Sciences Avik Isahakyan, Head of the Chair of New and Modern Armenian Literature at Armenian State Pedagogical University, Director of “Diaspora” Scientific and Educational Center, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Suren Danielyan and Dean of the Faculty of Journalism at Yerevan State University, candidate of philological sciences Naghash Martirosyan.

Jivan Sargsyan will recite poetry, and Anush Melkumyan and Luiza Yeremyan will perform the psalms of Mashtots.
