Session of the CIS Prime Ministers’ Council kicks off in Bishkek

The session of the CIS Prime Ministers’ Council was launched at the “Ala Archa” residence of the Government of Kazakhstan located near Bishkek. Over 20 documents will be discussed during the session, as reported “Armenpress”, citing RIA Novosti.

Among the participants of the session are the heads of governments of CIS countries, including Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitri Medvedev, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov, as well as the Prime Ministers of Moldova, Belarus, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Armenia is represented by Deputy Prime Minister Vache Gabrielyan.

The Prime Ministers will hold narrow-format and wide-format meetings to discuss issues related to future expansion and deepening of partnerships between CIS countries. Most of the issues are related to cooperation in the sphere of economy.

Issues on raising the level of efficiency of free trade zones, deepening innovative cooperation and enhancing partnerships within the energy and other sectors will be discussed, writes past.am.
