Armenian community of Argentina holds a festive concert

On May 30, the Armenian community of Argentina celebrated the anniversaries of the First Republic of Armenia, the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the liberation of Shushi and the Independence of Argentina with a grand ceremony held at Siranoush Hall of the Armenian Center in Buenos Aires, as reported pastor of the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Church of Buenos Aires, Archimandrite Maghakia Amirian to Hayern Aysor.
The students of the local Armenian school entered the hall with the national flags of the Republic of Armenia, Artsakh and Argentina, after which the national anthems were performed. The event featured performances by the Massis Dance Ensemble of the Armenian Diocese of Argentina and the Gaiane Dance Ensemble of the Armenian Cultural Association of Argentina, singer Artur Davtian and an Argentine ensemble. Among the speakers were Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Argentina Alexan Harutyunyan, members of the local Armenian community Hugo Gouyoumjian and Adrian Lomlomjian, who attached importance once again to the role and significance of the victories scored in May in the lives of the Armenian people.
At the end, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Argentina, Archbishop Kissag Mouradian gave his blessings to the gathered.
